“Love Anyway” is the first 100% collage I made (not counting the gold ink border). The inspiration for this piece is the overwhelming scope of everything it means to be human. Using collage as the medium is nice because it limits what I can put into it by what I can find in magazines and books. Naturally it’s impossible to reach beyond the tip of the iceberg of the human condition in a singular piece, but I feel satisfied with this. Perhaps I’ll return to the concept in the future.
